Controlling Trifolium Angustifolium? (narrow leaf clover)

Found a bunch of this scattered about a field I have been rehabbing. I am assuming its bad since nothing good randomly starts growing in my fields. Anyone have any luck controlling it? I'm worried that the small leaf will affect the uptake of 2-4,d.
