I was mad when the crappy zf 5sp in my truck went out at 215,000 miles. You would think they would be built better than that. :lol:

and I was not being critical....just pointing out that 176k is in my opinion satisfactory performance for wheel bearings...

You can't grease em. I'd be more disappointed in the tire tech who missed the bad bearing. Was your abs light ever on? Lots of times when those type bearing fail you'll have an intermittent abs failure lamp.

They may not have a zerk but you can stuff grease in them. Abs light never came on
