You may need to get a mask from TT.

The wife was wanting to go shopping there tonight, but I think she is making other plans now.

Two cases confirmed here today. One is not reported yet but confirmed late this afternoon. Our County already has contingency plans for a Corona Operations Center. We are lucky enough to have the former head of the Tennessee Department of Homeland Safety here in Hamblen County. The big problem is, we only have one hospital now with about 154 beds and a very large regional population.

Edit: I stopped at the grocery on the way home and they had no chicken or beef and just a small amount of pork ribs. Lots of the shelves were totally empty. I still got some other things a lot of people aren't thinking of like baking powder.

It's too late, the dang thing is everywhere.

Grab toilet paper, people are using it to barter for goods and services in middle Tennessee.

Earlier this week I picked up a roll of toilet paper and put it on one of my secretaries' desks and told her that we were giving her her Christmas bonus early.....

That was thoughtful.

You can tell a big shot when he says ONE of his secretaries.

I am pretty hard to scare, but this virus has gotten my attention. It must be unreal contagious. It is a shame they closed the hospital, as kinda seemed odd they built both right next to each other. I have been in both many times visiting people. My son worked in the Lab in the one still open for a while and daughter completed nursing clinicals there. Kinda blew my mind as I noticed they closed the mini-Walmart close Home Depot as it seemed it had not been open for maybe a couple years.

That Hospital had been poorly managed for years. I am glad they closed because they only hired the Dr.'s that Morristown-Hamblen would not. More beds were available, but the care there was very sub-standard.

I may need a mask from TT. It is getting closer as just up the road....

I find it amazing that we can watch the same television channels. I have satellite and we are in the Knoxville market, but I also have an OTA antenna so I can get the tri-cities channels as well.

I have just the opposite. Direct TV I can only get the Tri-City area, and it takes a 100 mile Antenna rating as I get the Knoxville area. I live somewhat on a hill and that probably helps.

Actually to be clear, here in Bulls Gap we have the option of which market we get on either Sattelite company. I had Directv until last year when I got fed up with them and AT&T. It all depends on which county you live in. The 37711 area code is an anomaly. I have a large antenna I mounted in my attic to get all of the OTA stations from both markets. Back then, I had way too much time on my hands.

The third case has been confirmed in Hamblen County and all County buildings have been closed to the general public.
