How hard is it to implant a cidr. I have a good AI person, but they have never inserted a cidr. Can this be easily learned?

it takes more time to walk to the cow than to put it in . very simple prcedure . 30 seconds per cow to load the cidr and implant .

As everyone else has said....very simple. First year I used them I didn't pay attention to the "tail" part of the CIDR, so a few were sticking up in the air, and a heifer pull it out of another heifer. So with all cows I make sure the tail will curl down when inserted, and clip an inch or so off on the heifers.

Very simple to use, I do palpate heifers when planting the cidr, seems they want to come out if i don't. On the ones we are using for the second time I remove the blue "tail" and replace it with line for a string trimmer with a knot in it so I can tell first use from second use when we pull them.
