If it's anything like the Australian Chinese relationship you will be buying your soybeans back as manufactured product at three times the price!

The traditional definition of being a colony is that you export low cost raw materials, and then buy back expensive manufactured goods... Works till you trash the natural resources and/or run up the cost of extraction. Over tilled corn belt ground is a good/bad example here - - OM and P levels trend down while the purchase price/acre goes up.

I hope the Chinese are putting all that hog manure to good use. Perhaps that is how they are able to send us so many premium organic vegetables! :nod:
