Was checkin on the new calf and thought I'd post some pics that I took today.
Old cow I picked up for cheap, she's due any minute.

She really does, I was really pleased with the last 2 bull calves. Here's a pic of last years he was bred to my angus bull. Sold him a little over 7mo and mashed the scale at just over 700lbs.

Them old cows will get it done. I bought two of them three years ago that came through the sale ring together for $950 each. They look just like yours in the top pic. They were medium bred and I was bidding against the packers. I planned on keeping them for one calf but whomever sold them had them bred to what must had been a very good bull. They both weaned calves in the 700 lb range at 7 months. They are both very good mamas so I kept them. They are still in the herd. I have no idea how old they are but they still have short teeth and will calve again in December. Thems the kind that keep you in the business.
