Lets just say you took 5 different breeds of cattle same age-same weight- fed identical diets- slaughtered same day- aged the same number of days- cooked the same way.
can anyone honestly tell one breed from the other?, if so please explain how?. or are all the different opinions just a ford...chevy syndrom. :cboy:

You could probably pick out the double muscled breeds because they don't marble very well; very tender, but not much marbling. You might be able to pick out some Continental breeds because they don't put down marbling at the same age as the British breeds. So, no, you probably couldn't pick out a specific breed, but there would be variations in animals fed identical diets and the same age because of genetic differences.
