Calving Ease Bulls?

We bred and raised a bull called "Northern Lite" (sometimes it's spelled Light) that works great on heifers. He's a Northern Improvement out of a Mailman/Angus cow. He's 92% Angus, 8% Chi. He's a registered Chi bull. He is well proven all over the country. You don't have your region listed, but most AI companies carry him. SEK, Bovine Elite, Cattle Vision, Stepping Stone, among others. His females make great cows too. He's been around since 2003 and still sells a good bit of semen every year.

No offense but how can you be a registered anything @ 8%?

I didn't pick the sire, my niece did, I don't even know which company she got it from.

I'm glad that the dam was to her was a really good cow.

@ any rate, registered or not, crossbred bull+crossbred cow = crossbred calf which is so far making a really good cow @ just turned 3.
Her and her dam both do a really good job.
So... I'm good.

Personally I'm more in love with her dam, but she's my brother's cow.
I think both might be around a long time.
