Calf Pictures

It's been awhile since I've posted anything on here, but since nothing is calving at the moment and the weather is crummy thought I would come on here and post a few pictures while there is time. We are just getting started calving (first due date was March 29) and have had 30 calves in the last 10 days. About 170 or so to go.

Thanks for letting me share and hopefully I didnt bore anyone with too many pictures!

Thank you for the comments! Right after I posted this went out and there was a new calf and two more on the way...ended up having 27 calves in 48 hours! Thursday afternoon we got about 8 inches of heavy wet snow, and overnight it got down to -22C. Not the best for the calves... Especially for the 7 that decided to come between midnight and 6 am. We were definitely kept pretty busy for awhile bringing calves in and then taking calves back out once they were warm and dry. Oh well....the last two days have been gorgeous and everything seems happy and healthy so far! We did have one calf that got layed on and squashed, but luckily we had a set of twins the same day. Grafted one of them onto the cow that lost her calf and it was instant match.
