Bushhogged hay

Someone hired me to bushhog about 8 acres so I go do it and it has God grass amongst the weeds.. I want to try to square Bale it and use for my goats has anyone square baled bushhogged grass?

We did some years ago . I would tetter and or rake fairly quick. Bush hogged grass can tend to pile up.

Stems will be shorter and I imagine it won't handle or bale as well, but I could be wrong. Bushhogs chop pretty fine and tend to fill the tractor tracks with chaff.

Once I seen it was decent I raised it up and adjusted it it's not super pulverized.

I don't see why it would be a problem, be best to run a tedder over it.

You lose alot but it bales and holds
