Just wonderin the kinds of bulls y'all have had. I'll start the list.

1-Gyr Brahman
1-Gray Brahman
2-Red Brahman (one is our current bull)
1-Hereford
1-Red Limousin
1-Black Limousin (current heifer bull)
3-Black Angus
1-Black Brangus

Polled Hereford (the most)
Pinzgauer
Simmental
Texas Longhorn (heifers only)
Angus
Santa Gertrudis
and we have leased a Char before
and we owned a Senepol bull calf once that we were going to use but he got to be so MEAN!!! that at 19 months he left on a truck never having been given the opportunity to do ANY work.

Personally, none. My only experience with cattle was working with my uncle.Small time dairy and beef operation. Only bulls he ever had were Hereford and Holstein.

Angus (a real suprise)
Simmintal (red and black) prefer red
Saler (never again)
Hereford (polled and horned)
Brangus (totally by accident)

It's what's I think is now called Chiangus. They were a black Angus Chianina cross from 200 or so years ago. The NAAB breed code is AK

The commercial herd we have started out milk cows generations ago. Then they went hereford. In the early 80s we introduced alot of other breeds. We used alot of limousin. I still remember some of the sires,Geondone (spelling?)"dad was stationed if France for awhile and said it means police", Canadian Pacific,MM Stretch.
We also used angus, red angus, shorthorn (maybe that was the neighbors that jumped the fence?), one Main Anjou, some longhorn on heifers and a little Gelbvieh.
The commercial herd now has generation after generation hereford and looks very hereford.
