Bought a new tank- has some in it: been told who one bull is believed to be-- curious to see if anyone would have any interest in it, or would be able to tell me who the other bull might be.

you should breed some angus cows with it ,raise some real moma cows. some of my best cows is 1/2 braunvieh,they call it THE GOLDEN CROSS,out west. blue dog

I'd call the Braunvieh association at 210-561-2892 . They should be able to identify the bull. The bull may be one of the really great ones or a dud.

Like bluedog said, Angus cross well with Braunvieh, making some really good mama cows and top calves in the feedlot and on the grid. However, just like with all breeds, some Braunvieh bulls are not so good, so I wouldn't breed a lot of females to the unknown bull initially, but may just sample him on a couple.
