when does a brahman heifer usually have her first heat cycle??

Depends a lot on how they are raised, just raised on grass running with the cows a little over two years old sometimes sooner. One that is fed from a calf will cycle sooner, but being overfed as a heifer can have detrimental effects on milk production by allowing fat to build up in the udder.

Ours cycle before they are 18 months or they are GONE!! They should be calving by 24 months but Brahmnas tend to be "late bloomers" so we give them till about 30 months to calve.
