Big sister SHOULD be along end of the month. She will be home in a week or two so I can watch her. Lil Sister will stay at lease place and wait for my new bull come December. If I ever decide what I wanna do for a bull.

I sold him when it came down to choosing between him and Big Sexy.
Just didn't need 2 bulls.
I bull. 2 calving seasons for me.

And here's Bessies daughter by Richard the mutt brangus. She's got her mamas genetics pretty hard. But still has a touch of ear. I'm hoping that white back by her udder is promising of milk like mama and grandmama on Richard's side!

Just to continue Richard's story
His first born heifer is due any minute! Bred to Big Sexy for her first calf. Hope this turns out well!

This is Also the daughter of the cow I had to send to slaughter. Brown Cow (the one with the hat) Big Sister is her name. Lil Sister be bred about December along with Big Sister again.
Things go right, she will be in the My Girls thread eventually

Big sister had Big Sexy's calf just fine. I slept thru night last night and what do ya know! All by herself.
Ain't gonna fool with em in the dark. 630 am and still dark. Yuck!
But 2 quarters have been nursed and baby seems content. So awesome!

Big Sister and baby went back home today. Got her loaded and walked right up on the bull calf and snatched him up! Put a halter on him, tagged him and shoved him in the trailer with mama.
No band for this lil bull. I wanna see how he grows....

This first calf heifer is very special to me in case ya'll didn't know. And her Sister is too!
Out of my cow in the avatar, and By Lil Ricky (aka Richard) the bull calf this thread was started for!
The calf out of this first calf heifer is sired by Big Sexy, my ol hereford bull, that is now gone as well.
Calf shows a tick of ear. And he is still a bull. I don't know where that will go, but it leaves me options.

Well.
I can't believe I did it, but Ricky's story is over for me. Big Sister, Little Sister, and Val (all sired by the bull this thread was started for) sold at a very good price Thursday.
I'll miss their earz the most!
