Is that a potential problem or is it just like any other breed that it depends?
What is the deal with "V-8 Brahma" cattle? Thanks in advance.

Sure , if they are Brahma influenced heifers.. if they are not then you could be in for some very large babies.

Guess it would depend as much on the cow as the bull. Some use brahman for calving ease. Small calves, shape of the head and the long lean body.

As stated earlier, it could be ok if the heifer's/cow's are of Brahman influence. Gir cattle throw's small calves so would imagine they would be ok on 1st calf heifer's. According to the show ring and some breeder's I've spoken with, V8 is one the more well known top of the line Brahman breeders out there. You will pay a pretty penny for their cattle, but it'll be money well spent. They have a lot of J D Hudgins blood in their cattle.
Heifer's start at 3000. They also raise Shorthorn cattle as well.
