Bow Season in Mississippi

Just wanted to share a photo of a deer shot with a bow by my brother in law yesterday in Mississippi. My oldest son was not happy at not getting a chance at this buck.

We've got quite a few upset hunters up here in our area. This year for bow and gun it is "earn a buck"

Definitely a wall-hanger! Love the drop tine. Around here the bucks have shed all their velvet already.

I don't know what he scores, but he weighed 225 pounds. I would have to ask the deer experts in my family, I am obviously not one of them. I just cook them.
