I have a friend that runs a bow fishing charter business here in Golden Meadow-Leeville LA. He has air boats and a big aluminum boat with 2 gator tail motors. Most nights he limits out on red fish, black drum and garfish. It's not unusual to shoot a 100+ times a night. He also trades hunts with people throughout the country. If you haven't tried it you should. Lots of fun and the action is very fast paced. And yes I stink at hitting a moving target with a arrow.
 
Bow fishing is something that I have always wanted to try but never had the opportunity to do it! Sounds like a lot of fun!

It can be humbling. About the time you get pretty good at it for some reason you start to miss more. Cockiness maybe and trying longer shots at bad angles.
 
I do freshwater and have did saltwater for stinkrays that was a different experience I had posted this pic before
