I go during the day, I like to loose arrows due to a string breaking or getting them stuck in sunken logs or tree roots and then am able to get them a little easier in the day. I go on the river here. It's a smaller river. Either go on a bridge and look straight down or walk high banks. This summer the water got down to about 2 feet deep in areas where the carp would hang out so I'd slowly walk up the river as they face upstream when sitting still. I always wear good sunglasses.
