I sure wouldn;t have a problem with quail wintering in the barn!

howdy all~

friend of mine used this trick in her horse arena and it worked good.... she strung fishing line all over in the rafters, some hanging down and some crisscrossed tight from beam to beam. The birds can't see it very well and they run into it and don't like THAT at all.... after a while they quit coming in. She also used birdshot in a 22.

I used to have an old dairy barn and couldn't keep the pigeons out of there. Too many holes!! I finally tore it down as it was falling down, and built a new pole shed. The pigeons thought they were gonna move in there so I kept it shut up for a few weeks and everytime the pigeons would roost on the roof, I would run outside like a CRAZY woman (not too far from the truth .... hehe) and shoot at them with the 22 rifle. They decided that I was crazier than they were stupid... LOL

:lol2:
