Beginning To Dislike September

On the positive side, weather is beautiful!

On the negative side, seems like:

(Assuming no one has P... Off someone)

• 1. People don't return your phone calls quickly.
  2. People don't return your phone calls at all.
  3. People don't inquire about livestock for sale as often.
  4. Website hits are less.
  5. People say they will get back to you, but don't.
  6. People seem to be procrastinating a lot about following up things.
  7. Blackbirds are still hanging around waiting for your to sow some seeds...
  8. People don't reply to your emails very fast, if at all.
  9. People don't answer their land line phones.
  10. People don't answer their cell phones (or voice mail turned off).
  11. People say they want to buy something, but never get around to it.
  12. People miss appointments, and don't bother to call in advance or offer any explanation...

Are these things due to?:

• 1. Back to school stuff?
  2. Sports?
  3. Recovering from vacations?
  4. Broke and no money?
  5. Taking a vacation?
  6. Dis-courteous?
  7. Or ???

1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 12 are all just normal things around here. The time of year doesn;t make any difference

This is one of the most busy times of the year for me. I'm trying to get the most important projects done before winter sets in. Weaning and haul calves and culls. yada, yada, yada.

Numbers 4 and 6, and for sure number 1. Between the school where I work and the school where my son is, it is two homecomings, two sets of games, two schedules...

I had some animals for sale recently and there's nothing like waiting around for someone to show up like they said they would. My favorite ones were the ones that come right at dark. Love to show ya, but it's dark out, ya know?
