Barn Lighting

Putting new lights in the basement of our barn using 100 watt lights. Would 9 lights be able to work for a single 20 amp service?

It should. 9 lights X 100 W each =900 watts.

Watts divided by Volts=amps.

I may be way off base to your question, but in my horse barn we use 300 wt bulbs. In a 60x36 horse barn we have six bulbs in the center isle, they work fine and plenty of light, but don't know the amps required. Also these bulbs screw into a socket just like your 100 wt, 60 wt household bulbs easy and cheap replacement.
