Bet it don't run cheap. Still mostly wood ties around here. Good thing is they can probably lay more rail in a half day than the old school method could lay in 2 weeks. Most of the new high speed lines are all concrete ties. Only thing that gets wood ties back is when they have to replace rotten ones. It is truly amazing watching that piece of equipment work. Even more amazing how incredibly expensive it is to put in that rail.
