Another Point on Grass Tetany

I don't want to mix these issues so I am placing this here separately. Grass Tetany is a focus this year in KY because of the hot/cool weather cycle with morning frost. A couple years ago my vet did a review of my cattle program, he told me to go out and pick up the white salt blocks. He knew I was using Ultralyx loose mineral and he said the cows will go to the white salt and not utilize the loose mineral thus avoiding the other minerals. So be careful if you are providing both separately.
