Got a call from #1 son and he was telling me about his job. His employer has aked him to work straight through the weekend. They told him to run by Detroit and pick up a new Dodge 3500 4x4 and head to Sparta Illinois where he is to attend the Country Music Festival where he is to chauffer some of the singers to and from the stage in the truck and he is to do this for the duration of the concert. Apparantly I did teach him a good work ethic as he isn't complaining one bit. In fact, he even sounds upbeat about the whole thing.

A 3500?? What does the average country star weigh these days?

Not much, but that depends if Jo's #1 son has to transport their ego as well.
Maybe...

Sure hope its not Jason aldeen, otherwise your boy might end up on the tmz aling with Aldeen and his girlfriend. Him being married and all

Here's the lineup. I just hope he's got the endurance to work through the whole weekend.

Friday -- Corey Smith & Trace Adkins

Saturday -- LoCash Cowboys, Colt Ford & Dierks Bentley

Sunday -- The Farm, Casey James & Tim McGraw

Yeah, he's pretty stoked about it. Two weeks ago they made him spend the week in Las Vegas as they unveiled some new vehicles. If they keep working him like this I don't know if he'll ever come home.

no Jana Kramer? that sucks!

To ask him to escort her to the concert, I think, would be asking too much of the young man. He has a good work ethic but ....

But--who' gonna get (take?)the credit for creating that job?

Wish I could make it up to see him. Then I could report to everybody exactly what you are really like.

Sparta is only about 60 miles from here.
