If she had any udder, someone might have requested it... as long as you didn't get charged, she is gone and off the feed bill. Sorry for the loss, but better than burying her, and better than feeding her for awhile for nothing.

She didn't have an udder but was a little swollen back there still so that's probably what prompted them to do it.
