Here's a few pics of my replacement pen. I have my own heifers along with the group I am planning on selling as breds in fall. I really don't know where prices are going to go in fall but I'm thinking I will need close to $3500 to feel like it was worth it. I bought most from a ranch that I really like his cattle and the I have group from my own cows which most of my own will be AI daughters. Also toying with the idea of AIing the heifers to get a premium. One year i think it helped me sell on really tough year to sell. Downside to AI on these girls is with my pasture situation is that I have to hold them in the yard and lose a month of grazing so it likely won't happen for that reason.
