Love your cattle. They are the right type. That last pic tells it all. Look at that close up cow and the ones in the background. Tons of VOLUME!!! That's what makes a good COW.
BTW - calves look awesome too!

Good looking cattle!
I like them all, but I have to say in a bit partial to those Charolais cross calves, being an old Charolais man myself.
Those BWF heifers should make some mighty fine cows to raise more of those CharX calves

Started gathering the stragglers. By rough count we are out 130 cows and a few bulls. Found this bunch yesterday and brought them home.

Just Red Angus bulls. We try to keep up to half reds.

Totally different world you live in. 130 missing??? That's more cattle than most of the farms on here have TOTAL. I'm sure it must be like looking for that needle in the haystack. Do they wander home when feed gets tough?

Flying tomorrow to spot some. 35 in in last few days. Feed is still pretty good and they are happy staying out. Trucks here for calves in 10 days.
