A few photo's from today

I was off today so spent the time mowing working pens at the house (where we keep our bulls) by 2:00 I was pooped so decided to run over to the farm and drive through the cows.



This is a first calf heifer Gizmo Blackcap 1222 409 830M Reg# 17538464 I really am liking the Missing Link daughters she has a 9/28/2014 heifer calf out of Coleman EXT 6149 on her side that is looking really good. I was a bit concerned about frame size with the Missing Link bull but this cow has a frame score of 5.05 which is just about perfect for our environment.



Another first calf Missing Link daughter Gizmo Bridget 1219 956 830M Reg# 17538449 She has a Coleman EXT 6149 heifer on side born 10/01/2014 and a frame score of 5.04.



This is a first calf heifer we purchased as an embryo Giz Kinochtry Bty 1216 6807 Reg# 17525495 she has a bull calf born 10/01/2014 on her side out of the Coleman EXT 6149 bull. Frame score 4.97



Just a few of the calves out of our 2 and 3 year old cows. I think the heifer calf is going to be really nice.



A heifer calf out of a three year old and S A V Resource. This was the first year that we have used the Resource bull I like the length on the calves. I took a bunch more photos but I can't post more than this per my little error message.

Ronnie and Mike moved the mature cows into the last field of standing hay today, our mature cows don't get fed they get grass and a sweetpro tub the field they were in was getting pretty slim on grass. It would be interesting to see how they look tomorrow afternoon after being on the new grass for 24 hours.



This is our 525 cow she is a Pathfinder Gizmo Pride 525 065 0125 Reg# 15394906 she had a heifer calf out of Resource on 10/23/2014 that should be a keeper.



One of my favorite commercial cows she is just pretty she has an ET bull calf out of N Bar Primrose Y3051 that should make a nice one.



Another commercial cow that is doing us a good job she has a OCC Juneau 807J bull calf out of our donor A47 on her side he looks like he is getting fed pretty darn good.

They look good. Those mature cows are very impressive. I really like deep cows.
