A&A scale charging??

Got a set last night. THe monitor has a charging port with a on/off toggle switch next to it. Does it have to be flipped to on before it will charge? The display does not come on with this. When plugged in without it flipped no lights or anything say charging ect. Now I flipped the toggle and the AC and CH lights are on and red. Just wondering if you have to have this flipped for it to charge? Thanks.

Don;t know, but usually the CH (probably "charging)" light will turn green when the battery is charged.

Didn't show any lights with the toggle turned off. Turned the toggle on and after about 5 hours the ch light turned off. So guess it goes off and you do have to have the toggle switch on during charging
