90 Degrees on Oct 1

Temp was hot today (90) and didn't feel like doing anything
except check on cows...

Found some of the girls at the beach- enjoying the cool creek..

A few cows out grazing on the hay meadows-some others in the hills...This heat has definitely browned things up..

A little bull calf that keeps catching my eye.. Double bred Bannon of Wye.

High here today was 45. Cold and rainy. Cold and rainy. Sick and tired of all the rain. Would love to be with them there cows swimming at the "beach." Great pics.

Hi here today was in the 60's and calling for a low in the upper 30's tonight.

Was in the 90's here yesterday, cooler today but still under a Red Flag.
Just had a storm system roll through. Had a flash of lighting and some thunder. Only rain was pretty much a spit and miss deal. Hope the weather guys are right, suppose to rain this next weekend.
Saw the northern lights last night and on Tuesday night. Got my fingers crossed.

Weaning, preg testing and weighting calves tomorrow. Haven't heard yet, but H'76 was talking about coming down.

the world musta flipped on us,, frost the last 2 mornings here....... about 2 to 3 weeks in advance..........put a dent in fall grazing
