The water in fuel alarm came in so I shut it down and drained the fuel filter. I accidentally dropped the plug and all the fuel leaked out before I could get it back in. I also loosened the bleed screw and tried manually pumping but couldn't get any fuel out of bleed screw. It won't start, any ideas?

Sometimes you have to rotate the engine a little as the arm on the lift pump on the camshaft may be on its upper limit and so you get no movement on the diaphragm with the manual pump. If you have tried starting it the injector pump is now full of air so follow the bleed procedure in your manual and you should be good to go.

Thanks wbvs. I got it last night. I did a 'prolonged' start a couple times and it finally fired up. I never did get diesel out of the bleed screw though.
