We give Calf Guard as well.... no scour problems since ..except for possible milk scoots from rich milking moms. No antibiotics are given with vaccines unless absolutely necessary. (Was told antibiotics given with vaccines was detrimental to the vaccines affects) Valerie

Where did you get the coat for the calf? I've thought about making some for the Jersey heifers if the winter gets too much colder. So far, they are handling it well. Valerie

It won't affect us either. We use yeast in the feed , and only use antibiotics when absolutely necessary... I dont'even give it for calf scours unless I know for sure the scours are not caused by too much milk or feed (we start creep as soon as they can nibble) or from vaccine. Valerie
