If the calf is healthy and it's just the hair around it's mouth, I wouldnt worry. Happens alot to bucket calves from having wet past the nose or if he noses the water tank. jp

I'll play what if. What if you have a small closed herd,no other cattle near your boundry, and the only new additions to your herd is a virgin bull just often enough not to inbreed and you select them from small closed herds.Could it be possible to keep a healthy herd without vaccinations?

yes, used it for pink eye in calves and for cats eyes when they close up.

urea isnt good for calves under 6 months old because it can damage thier undeveloped liver. it doesnt mean that it will but theres always that chance
