I spent the day looking at some fine Brangus cattle. The sun was shining, the grass was green and the cattle were black. We met some good folks and my son bought a beautiful young cow with twin bull calves. Good weather, good company, good cattle-just can't beat it. Just wanted to share.

Christmas Day broke brightly in South Alabama after a cool, rainy night. The ryegrass pasture seems to have grown 2 inches overnight. Our black mama cows are lying peacefully, chewing their cud. Their babies asleep enjoying a full stomach of rich warm milk. Hubbie says there is no prettier sight...

Bud in Lower Alabama and I have had 47 wonderfully blessed years together. Went walking over our 80 acres together this morning and just fell in love all over again. He is one cool daddy.
