Well after waiting and waiting on the old gal. She finally calved yesterday at 3:30 pm. She a had a big (100 lbs.) heifer. Both are doing just great.

Thank you TB, Mercedes is as gentle as you can find a cow. The lady we bought her from decided not to dehorn her . She had a couple of them done and decided it was to stressful on cattle. I myself would have dehorn her also.It's kind of funny,people that stop by the house get nervous when...

LOL,fourstates those maters were not very good. My brother has a veggie stand,so I bring home lots of goodies. My brother has planted 8000 tomato plants for this fall. So I guess she will have her treats until it freezes.
