Well,my jersey had her calf today. I wasn't really sure what to expect. As it turns out she is not a bad looking heifer.

Just a couple of hours old.

One thing I thought was pretty cool is ,she has blue eyes. I named her Peaches. Her mom ate a ton of them,plus tomatoes, and watermelons.

Why you feeding them nice 'maters to the cow!! Our season is over and I already miss them.

LOL,fourstates those maters were not very good. My brother has a veggie stand,so I bring home lots of goodies.
My brother has planted 8000 tomato plants for this fall. So I guess she will have her treats until it freezes.
