    Cut rake and roll in thick hay $25 a roll and in thin hay $30 a roll 4 X 5. I can't see how they can do it cheaper than that. Just roll in thick hay $15 is a fair price.

    Putting out 60-N, 30-P, and 60-K per acre this spring, cost spred is $94.67 per acre or about $568 a ton. That includes them spreding it and only on 30 acres. What is it costing y'all?

    If you are going to plant it to bale why not just plant brown top millit. It drys easy and cows love it. Cut it before the seed gets hard so that it stays on the stem while raking and rolling.

    Peanut Hay is going for $35 a roll 4 X 6 at the farm. How many do you want? They are only rolling what people want but so far they have rolled all they picked. I think several hundred acres left to pick so plenty left. EDIT: Sold out.

    I don't even take mine off the pasture when putting out lime. They do fine. Put it out when they are up in the trees so you don't sling it in thier eyes or run over one.
