    Signs of a ridden cow?

The hair on her tailhead will be roughed up. There may be dirt on her sides if it is damp in your area. Holding her tail out a bit and arching her back would be a sign that she had been serviced.

    Ice Road Truckers, eh???

I've been a bit buggered up the last couple days and it has been hot and dry outside so I've been kicking it up with my "spring water" pain killer in front of a fan watching re-runs. I like the Discovery channel. Mike Rowe is a hoot on Dirty Jobs but my latest favorite is the Ice Road Truckers...

    big footed calf

Why the LA200? The bandimine will ease the pain but why LA, does the calf have an infection? I think the vet grasping at straws here cause he doesn't have a clue.

    Lactating Cows/High Mag Mineral

Real good advise here blk mule. I figure your ground is alot like mine and selenium deficient too. I feed the vita-ferm cow calf 5 starting in january (calving in march)then late march I switch to breeder booster+mag. Great mineral, pricey but worth it IMO

    Right Time To Breed Heifers

Exactly. Breed them according to age, cull hard on the ones that don't make the weight. I like the heifers to calve a couple weeks before the cow herd, like Mike. I am able to give the heifers a little more attention that way.
  18. Muratic

So what do you think ????

    Deer Roping

Did ya'll know that you have to be in a motorized vehicle to get service at a drive thru fast food joint. Went to town one night while in college, was horseback, and they said we had to tie the horses and come inside for service. They couldn't take our order unless we were in a car. :roll...

This has implications for out of state cattle showing or selling in Michigan. If you are planning...
