Anyone having trouble getting cows to stick?

So far it's looking like the cows that have got an egg have stuck. Only put a couple in as of right now. The cows I AI'd seem to be around 45-50% right now. I'm hoping that all the eggs stick!

Oh I'm far beyond drove nuts over this. They are show cattle and not dumping cheap semen in them let alone falling behind on calving dates. I just can't wrap my head around it whats wrong. They get quality hay and free choice Rowe nutrition 8% mineral. Been a great system before. They will goto...

Placing embryos 30 days after calving

I know the standard time to place embryos is after 60 days but I have some cows that need to come back around to date to calve earlier in the year. Massey Ferguson 1150

Hey all. I bought a massey 1150 last year and I'm thinkin about trading it in on something else or selling it to get something a little smaller. It's a great tractor but likes the fuel. I do not. But that would explain the ridiculous prices Ive seen lately. Might be able to find some distributors that still have some

    Shorthorn bull Talladega ?

I would look at hot commodity. He is a great low bw bull and his calves seem to come easy. Also look at BISS Element. His semen isn't available on the open market yet but you can sometimes find it in sales they donate it too. His calves are just now coming on the ground but I love the looks of...

    Round baler suggestions?

Thank you all for the responses. Looks like many good choices. I found a john deere to go look at this week and a couple new Hollands. Not many massey or Vermeer in my area that are nice. I wouldn't mind a claas either but they are pretty pricey. But seen one of them work...wow it was nice

    IVF embryos ?

I think flushing cows ivf is better because the drugs they use aren't as hard on the cows. I also like that you can bred them and flush them while they are bred up to 4 months I believe. If you are using high end semen then reverse sorting it in my mind is the best thing to do bc then u are...

I haven't seem much difference either. We are in Ohio and have miserable weather right now and no difference. I seem to see about an average of 7 days over expected due date on all my cows. Not sure why but that seems about the norm for us. Hope that everything goes well for ya! We got 5 due...
