john deere 2140

Hey all. I am looking at buying a john deere 2140. Didn't know if yall had any experience with this tractor. It was an overseas model and I called my local deere dealer to make sure they can get parts easily and they said yes. it is 82 hp and seems to be nice. any info yall got would be great. thanks!

I have a I'd 2130, They are a very good tractor.

What are you planning to use the tractor for?

I have a 1040. Sweet little rig. All metal. 7200 hrs, runs like a top. This was a "European delivery" model that eventually trickled over the Canadian border. 50 hp 3 cyl. diesel. Getting parts has been no problem at local dealer. Good luck !

i stopped and looked at the tractor. it was great. only one thing that concerned me other then having one remote when I wanted 2. but one serial number plate said 2140 and the other said 2640 on it. I didn't like that so I just walked away from it
