Nope no sandals here, not that they might not be comfortable, but it would not be real smart when you are dealing with 600lb. 55 gallon drums of liquid fertilizer all day. Just might end up with a few less toes. Steel toe lace up ropers if you must know! :D ;-)

Now why would you folks try to hurt a family business like that? I am not asking anyone to buy my products, just to consider organics/sustainable ag. practices. I am sure you would not like it if I came to your ranch and messed with your busniness or went to your job and tried to get you fired...

Yes, you got it, did not think that someone would actually think I ment they sprayed it on fields. Spraying is just easier than placing a 1 pound fish every Square Yard of your pasture. (I am kidding people!)

Yes I do spray fish and seaweed on our Hay and Grazing pastures, worked for the American Indians for 1,000s of years.

If you have to spray for weeds.... I would do that first. I would not get the weed healthy then spray it, kinda wastes the fertilizer if you ask me. I do know that cimmeron or alliy will not work as well if sprayed after a fertilization. Brad

I would mow it high to top off the weeds before they seed out! Then I would spray a nitrogen fixing micro organisims on the pasture to decompose the weeds and fertilize the pasture at the same time. The weeds are there for a reason..... something is wrong with the soil, if you spay herbicide on...

I would concider that pasture a hay meadow for this year and be happy to get a cutting or two from it. I think that the hay equipment might be a little more eazy on the new pastures then the cows might be, I would be afraid that the cows might be pulling to much on the shallow and young roots...

When you comparing Chemical Fertilizer with Organic it is like comparing apples with oranges. With Chemicals you have to worry about loosing the nitrogen due to evaporation if it does not rain in a few days. Or loss of some of the NPK do to run off or leaching if it rains too much. With organic...
