    LSU Football

If I were Les, I'd gladly take the 15 million buyout, start a small cow/calf operation, and run my herd until I was nearly out of money. Then, I'd get one of those TV gigs during football season to subsidize my social security.

College football is almost here so....

I'm predicting 4 loses for the Vols this year, but I'm dreaming of fewer.

    Motor oil

Several years back, I attended a seminar on lubricants. A lubrication engineer with one of the big 4 oil companies was answering questions. When asked about synthetic motor oil, his response which I will attempt to recall was: (he was speaking to people from Kentucky and Tennessee) " synthetic...

    Farm Subsidies.

Agree 100 %. Only way to avoid paying taxes is to not spend money. How much tax revenue are we collecting from drug dealers now? I would guess zero. A sales tax would tax their windfall profits when they buy their boats, cars, mansions, etc..

Cabo.... you were right!!!! Somehow the guide has been bent upward to the point that the twine does not touch it at all. Can I heat the guide and pull it back down, or do you suggest I order a new one?

    530 John Deere Baler

Thanks, I'll check the guides (didn't know about that). Not rolling barrel shaped rolls, so I don't think that is the problem.

    530 John Deere Baler

I'm having a bit of a problem with my JD 530 round baler. Basically, when the baler goes thru the tying cycle and cuts the twine, the twine is too close the the edge of the bale. Then , when we move the bale out of the field, the twine wants to fall off the end of the roll. I see no way to...

    Battery Disconnect

Does anyone use a battery disconnect switch on their tractor? I have an older 1466 international which must have some sort of electrical drain on the battery when unused for several days. Thinking of installing one of these switches at a convenient location on the tractor to see if it helps.
