Has anyone tried show chow? What dose it cost? (per bag/or bulk)

Back in the 80's we had a cow have 48 good embryos 54 total. Over the last two or three years we have avg. 15 good embryos on three different cows. Last flush had 24 embryos 20 grade #1's ,2 grade #2, 1 grade #3 and 1 unfertile.

Dusty I talked with Select Sires two weeks ago and they said he is alive and in better shape now than he has been. I think they said they were going to try to collect some semen from him. I have 10 straws on the way that they found for me.

Has anyone used any of the Accelerated bulls with Affirm? What do you think of Affirm? Dose it help? Not asking about bulls but if Affirm really works.

If I were to use this bull on heifers I would use him on larger framed heifers that have low bw epd's or a family history of calving ease, cause we all know that epd's are only a tool to help in selection.

The only reason she's so fat is cause all they do is flush her. If I had a cow that made me that much money she could be as fat as she wanted as long as she produce fertile eggs.

Tom, I wouldn't use him I don't think he will work on your cows. Also you won't have to much selling his offspring in this neck of the woods.

Unless you are going to show them I'd let nature take it's course. If you want to treat I'd use Blu Kote, just spray on every other day, make sure not to use to much were it drips into the eye. When you spray they will close there eyes.

The sale catalog didn't say anything about this semen being donated. I did hear a few months ago that 1I2 was on his last leg but haven't been able to confirm the rumor.
