The last I knew he is still alive but only producing sporadically because of his age. A good place to find semen is http://www.advantagecattle.com go into the classified section and you can find lots of semen.Also you can email the site with an offer on the semen that you want and you can sometimes get it cheaper that the asking price. I have bought semen from the site several time with great success.
