Winter begin

According to the calendar Thursday was the first day of winter. Yesterday it was over 40 degrees and I wasn't wearing a coat. Well it was 12 degrees when I wen tout to feed this morning. If it keeps this up I will have to break out the long underwear at some point.

We have not gotten much snow since Thanksgiving. It tried last night, but didn't really do anything, other than wind. We got plenty of wind last night. It's looking like this whole week we are not going to get above 30.

We've been on a roller coaster. The lowest we've seen in the last month was 8F, and today it was 52 and it may have been warmer. Maybe an inch of snow in late October, a skiff a couple of times that could barely be called precipitation, and none for the last month.
