I realize that this is a shameless plug but if you don't promote your own cattle, who will?

These are bulls that are bred and fed to be low maintenance. They have never seen a ration that is designed to have them gain more than 2.5 lbs per day (NEg=50 mcal/cwt). They spent 140 days last summer getting nothing but grass and 60 day last fall getting only average quality hay when the grass quit growing.

How did the sale go?

The 2 year olds averaged about $3300.00 and the yearlings averaged about $2000.00. The high seller was $7100.00 and sold to a commercial breeder with black cows.
