ok we was talking about HEEEEEEE HAWWWWWWWWW on anther thread.an jr samples came up.so im wondering who is the junior samples of CT.lets get it going guys an gals.

It is time to plead the 5th, again! :D :D

You could just call BR-549 and see who answers.

Now I would nominate the old Crowder and Paint for the "picking and grinning" feature. Lately they both have been slipping.

Crowder has often advertised goods and/or services and given the BR-549 number.

I wanta know who is our Misty Rowe? Follow me on this, fat old guy in overalls or ....

Kenny Price.
Here we go. WLWT in Cincinnati had a "barn dance" show on Saturday night. Who remembers when radio and TV offered local programming? It could range from darned good to pretty awful, but it was local folks picking and singing and telling jokes.
Kenny Price got his start on the "barn dance" show.
If you had a really tall antenna you could get that show here.

The Round Mound of Sound?

Bigbull, I don't know you, and please don't be offended, but when I thought of who was our Junior Samples, I thought of you.

It's because I like you some!

If it makes you feel any better, I thought of some others as well. Things were slow at work today.

I guess it is time some enlightened person downloads the cast and we should begin our nominations. It is an election year.

Kenny was "calorically challenged".

Okay, so we need:

Buck Owens
Roy Clark
Grandpa Jones
String Bean (Loved him! )
Archie
That Canadian guy who reads the news at KORN
Minnie Pearl
Lulu Roman
That blonde haired chick who looked like she had a little bit of a learning disability
The Hager Twins (yuck)
The Hee Haw Honeys, (and admit it, if you are a man of a certain age, this was as close to porn as you were gonna get.)
Gaylen Sartain, (don't know about that spelling)
Who else???

Can you tell I got parked in front of the tube a lot?

Lets do this thing right.

I think Minnie Pearl should be Aunt Alice.

what the h**l are you talking about????? Is it an area thing????
Hee-Haw played on US tv for near 20 years, Chrisy. It became a cultural icon, at least for those of us missing some teeth.

Ah! we never had that programme here...but I found this poem if it means anything???

Claude Strawberry
Hi friends, it's Claude Strawberry again with poetic wheels a turning.

I have still another remarkable rhyme the subject of which is learning.

Now, I have a friend, and he spent his live-long life in school-

Though there still are those who refer to him as just an educated fool.

But that is not my problem. The point of my concerning is that his health is suffering from all his studying and learning.

He studies through each day and night on subjects academic.

Why such lack of rest could prove as fatal as an epidemic.

He's earned his bachelor's and his masters and several PhDs.

But he's got to slow down, because like I told him, he's killing himself by degrees.

String Bean (Loved him! ) String Bean WAS/IS country, his pic is in the dictionary.
Archie Rindercella and The Three Sugly Blisters, a classic.
That Canadian guy who reads the news at KORN Who was that guy? Egg crates lined the wall in the studio.
Minnie Pearl A country classic. Minnie was a very accomplished woman, who played a hick. She is one of my faves.
Lulu Roman Lulu and Jr. were made for each other.
That blonde haired chick who looked like she had a little bit of a learning disability As I remember, all the Hee-Haw girls were blonde. You need to be more specific.
The Hager Twins (yuck) Yuck
The Hee Haw Honeys, (and admit it, if you are a man of a certain age, this was as close to porn as you were gonna get.) Is that why I watched? Dang!
Gaylen Sartain, (don't know about that spelling) Gaylord. Funny.
Who else???

Can you tell I got parked in front of the tube a lot?

I can't even remember all the characters, I haven't seen that show since I was in single digits.
My parents watched it and at that time you watched what they watched, talk about torture.. :cowboy:

It was that and Hockey night in Canada...

You are right about that! Hee-Haw could be pretty bad. Only slightly better than watching hockey.

I know quite a few folks that were close to the Stars and Crew of Hee Haw.I would be honored to be Junior Samples, but at the present time I'm 190 lbs, and 5'10" and I dont think I'd feel too well putting on at least 125 lbs.On a further note those of you that have recalled "Stringbean" may be interested to know one of his killers is about to be Parolled (possibly) in the near future after being handed down about 20 life sentences. String was known to carry large sums of cash, and a couple thugs killed him for very little money. BTW, Lulu Roman is doing fine and singing Gospel music.

I guess we figgered you would know where Lulu is. :D :D
I think I have heard her sing gospel. Very good.
And, Hee Haw had the gospel quartet, from time to time. Very good.
