Got a Jersey, and a Red Augus that came up lame. (one on the right front, the other on the right rear) Neither have anything sticking out of their hoofs, and no cuts to speak of. At first I thought of snake bites, but lean towards getting stepped on as they limp when they first rise, but seem to "walk it off" pretty much. Some swelling is present. Just bought a head gate, but have not got it up yet, so holding them still would be a challenge, although I can hem them up in the barn stall. The wife started spraying salt water (epsom) this A.M.

Second that - I spray the hoof area with I2 when I dose them with LA200. Use at least 5 ml/100#.
