I have a bull calf that is 10 months old---horns just beginning to show but they move around when you push around on them-- apparently not attached to his skull--is this a scurr or what & will they continue to grow if I don't remove them?

They will probably grow a little and maybe firm up a bit too but if they are scurs, they never harden into a horn. Horns are firmly attached at the base.

And then, there is always the things you have never seen before too. :D

My "guess" is they are scurs because of his age and the fact that they wiggle....we have a horned breed and the males develop horn buds early, around 2 months of age, and nothing wiggles.

I have seen cows with floppy horns. They hang down alongside the face. People around here call them "banana" horns. The cattle usually have Brahman breeding.
