What is the best breed of cows to put with my registered Santa Gertrudis bull?

I think he will handle a bunch of mongrels OK. I think Santa's over Angus cows make great calves and good cows if you want to retain some heifers.

Hereford hands down ,,really makes a great combination...then you can go back with a Simmental... angus just don't complement them, Like a good Hereford will...

The best calf is going to be from Hereford cows. But since you are doing it backwards Gert bull over Hereford cows you gotta be allot more careful. If you want to sleep at night get you some Brangus cows and call it a day.
